I am trying to locate what network ports the Administrator and Operator
console run on, we will be deploying MOM 2005 soon into our production
environment which is in a seperate domain and firewalled off from everything.

If someone can provide the info or point me in the right direction it would
be much appreciated.

Hi have a look a
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/mom/MOM2005/Library/44958f90-1b2e-4ef1-aa6d-6e1d56bfd050.mspx

"Both the Administrator and Operator consoles communicate with the
Management Server over the RPC port (TCP 135) and the DCOM port range,
therefore installing the consoles beyond a firewall is not supported"

Hello Neil,

Garry is correct. While agent to server comm requires port 1270 only, your
Admin / Ops consoles require the RPC range, making terminal services to the
mgmt server an attractive option.
